Yesterday, Vizulate, an approved supplier on the Digital Enterprise scheme, attended the launch of the Digital Knowledge Exchange programme. Armed with business cards, leaflets, and audio visual equipment, we were ready for the day ahead.
The ‘Marketing the Art of’ conference event entailed a celebration for SMEs in the Leeds City Region, as organisations welcomed the introduction of the new Digital Knowledge Exchange programme. It will be a key component of the Digital Enterprise scheme, as eligible businesses will be able to attend free workshops, masterclasses, digital conferences and access mentoring support in the upcoming months. The Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), also launched the second phase of the Digital Enterprise Growth Voucher scheme and the Connectivity Voucher.
The Digital Knowledge Exchange service enables entrepreneurs and senior business members to exchange knowledge, expertise and advice on deploying digital methods to develop their businesses. Ultimately, the aim for the project over the next two years is to improve digital knowledge and assist business growth.
At the launch of the event, held at the Life Centre event in Bradford, businesses were informed of the positive impact the first phase of the Digital Growth Voucher had in the region. Furthermore, businesses attending the event had masterclasses from digital experts and optional mentoring. Mick Brant, Director of Vizulate, was on hand as a Digital Champion mentor to share his knowledge in business and marketing with other delegates.
Vizulate found the event a fascinating opportunity to network with other SMEs in the region. The masterclass talks were an interesting opportunity to hear from experts in their fields about some of the latest changes in the digital marketing world.
