Most of Mick’s 35 years’ of business experience has been in the service and software industry, much of it at board level. His experience ranges from start-ups to multi-million pound international businesses.
Mick is an investor and board director with a number of businesses, at varying stages of their evolution and he holds a number of advisory roles.
Prior to this Mick was a director at MSCI, following the acquisition of Appled4 Technology, a software business he founded with a number of his former colleagues from US bank Mellon in 2006. At Mellon, Mick was European CEO and Managing Director of Mellon Analytical Services International (MAS), where he was responsible for business in Europe, Australia & Asia. Mick was also on the board of MAS Australia Pty Limited.
Before this he was CEO of CAPS, a UK investment analysis business that was acquired by MAS in 2001. Mick joined CAPS in 1984 as IT Manager and in 1991 he was appointed to the board as Deputy Chief Executive, taking on a broad range of operational and client facing responsibilities. He became CEO of CAPS in 1999. Mick was also Chairman of Risk Reporting, a joint venture between CAPS & Barra, prior to its acquisition by MAS in 2003. Prior to this, Mick held various positions in software development, IT management and management consultancy after gaining his degree in Mathematics and Computing.
Mick’s role at Vizulate is primarily focused around business strategy and development. Mick also has client management and advisory roles with some of our larger clients, using his all-round B2B experience.
