Vizulate would like to congratulate our client and Left Jab Promotions owner Sean Reynolds who, along with his stellar team of coaches and promoters, put on a sell-out amateur boxing event to raise £11,062 for local charity Kirkwood Hospice.
On Saturday 1st April, the Apna Venue in Huddersfield was full to capacity as 650 people watched 48 novice boxers step into the ring to battle it out for Kirkwood Hospice in one of the biggest challenges of their lives. Vizulate staff Scott and Ryan went along to support the event and were blown away by the professional setting and atmosphere of the event.
Training for the white-collar event began over two months ago as the amateur boxers underwent 10 weeks of intense and specialised training from a dedicated team of coaches at Left Jab.
The money for Kirkwood Hospice was raised through a combination of ticket sales, a JustGiving sponsorship page, corporate sponsors, a raffle, and an auction on the night offering various signed sporting memorabilia memorabilia.
Boxing 4 Kirkwood Round 3 was the third amateur boxing event organised by Left Jab Promotions, which have now raised a staggering £30,000 for Kirkwood Hospice in under a year.
Kirkwood Hospice Fundraiser, Dawn Walker said: “For the third time, Boxing4Kirkwood was a hugely successful and entertaining night and the team at the Hospice is so grateful to everyone involved in the event for organising such an amazing fundraiser for Kirkwood. It takes real passion and commitment to raise such an enormous total and we hope that everybody knows what a difference their money will make towards those who rely on our services. The Hospice simply wouldn’t exist without voluntary donations and the amazing support of the people of Kirklees”
